Cheltenham 2018 Ante post bets

I've plotted up in a Villa out in Tenerife the last two years with 3 mates. One couldn't make it this year, so just staying at home.

I'm done with betting until the end of month, and will just splash about on the day now.
 
I hate this period... most of my ante post done, next splurge to come when handicap entries out (28th Feb?). The couple of weeks before is great for the preview nights, the several months up til February great for day-to-day building of the books, but the first 3 weeks of Feb can f*ck right off!

Haha I feel the pain! Praying along the way that there are no further issues with any of the horses too! Only 4 weeks tomorrow, but seems to drag like crazy!

It's an anxious period! I'm searching on twitter for 'Monalee' (who i want in the RSA) and 'Yanworth' (who on reflection i probably want in the stayers) far too often
 
Happy time for me 4 weeks tomorrow. Most of my bets still standing. No Handicap bets yet hopefully get a big winner on the Tuesday or Wednesday.
 
Toughest day this year definitely shaping up to be the Thursday... JLT, Ryanair and Stayers all very open and likely to remain so, 3 handicaps, and the mares novice with plenty of conflicting formlines and Salsaretta still maybe to open it up even more

Well, after my post about 10 minutes ago in the Supreme thread, glad I waited for some response on him. Won't bother putting my money down on him for the Supreme then. What a waste!

Given up on the Tizzard's ages ago. They will always have winners because of the quality of animal in their yard at the moment, but his operation is increasingly laughable.. you only need to listen to how gormless he is in his post race interviews to realise he hasn't got much of a clue about the game

Believe the hcap entries close next Tuesday (20th) could be out Wednesday after noon. Weights will probably be out the closer to 28th.

Cheers, will put a note for both stages. Tomorrow morning will be interesting to assess a few marks after the betfair hurdle
 
Struggling on my free bet acca this week. Seeing a lot of the same horses in them in my spreadsheet and wondering if I should put some savers in

Problem with a savers acca is you're betting that all your previous thoughts are wrong and all those bets are beat.
Saver singles are grand, but saver accas you need all your previous bets to be beat just to get the saver acca up.

Sage advice. Think I'll do a treble with some of my larger priced fancies that I haven't really multied up yet
 
I know its tempting to have a bet in all these Handicaps. But I am under the thumb now. So I have to look after me money a bit better till the Monday before the opening day.;)

HDB said on ATR (racing news) this morning that Monalee Definitly leaning towards RSA
