Supreme Novices 2018

Sayar

He is on the way back from a setback, but his progress hasn’t been as good as we hoped. He won’t make the Dublin Racing Festival and I doubt he’ll make it to Cheltenham. We are more so thinking about the Punchestown Festival for him.

Where is this taken from?

Was just coming on to post that. Very unfortunate that. Would advise any who have bet with 365 to cash him now

:( Shame.... I have 1 pt e/w at 33s and 2 pts win 25s... the 25s are with 365 so will be cashing out. *edit - both with 365 - cashed out both, don't think they'd rush him to it regardless.

Even if he did go, he'd need to be a superstar to defy the absence/prep

Cashed out with bet365 myself. Mental note for next year... try and put as many bets on with bet365 as possible. Such a bonus to be able to do so when your perspective changes on races.

Yeah absolutely incredible really..... how often do you get 4 pts back without NRNB because you backed one that has had a setback!

Lets hope the option is there next year!

Been confirmed the Debuchet thing was a genuine typo! Horse still with Mags

It’s disappointing not be running CLAIMANTAKINFORGAN in the Tolworth Hurdle but to be honest it isn’t just because of the ground. Let’s not forget he only ran at Ascot two weeks ago and this comes up pretty quick so it makes sense to wait with him a little longer. He doesn’t need an awful lot of racing and I wouldn’t want him having a hard race at Sandown so we’ll look at something like the Morebattle Hurdle at Musselburgh, which we’ve won with Simonsig and Top Notch, or the Dovecote at Kempton could also be a possibility. I’d prefer to get him out on decent ground as he’d probably only need one run before Cheltenham anyway. He’s in great form and there is nothing wrong with him which is the most important thing.

I wouldn't expect him to take up that engagement.

Patrick Mullins has what we all suspected, and that Sharjah and Getabird would most likely be split between the Ballymore and Supreme.

Good news for you Scooby:encouragement:

Was just coming to post that... thought WH had the double at 134/1 but it is wrong on oddschecker

I think a win for Sharjah in the Deloitte and he'd come here.... Getabird to Ballymore

I'd be suprised by that,
Sharjah still wouldn't have beat mengli khan. Who's the Irish benchmark.

Getabird is the Irish benchmark...

Sharjah is only quoted by two bookies at the momnent on oddschecker for the Ballymore. If Sharjah stayed up in the Moscow Flyer and won like he looked like he would... and backs up by winning the Deloitte, he's the Supreme standard setter IMO.

Of course, they'll know which is better over 2m, and they'll know which combo gives them most chance of winning two races...

Sharjah Ballymore doesn't seem like Plan A to me!

Yeah think they will have a good idea who is the best of the two, and the best will go to the Supreme for me.
