Your optimism keeps us going Kev, and in that same spirit I'll put the words 'back operation' to the back of my mind and instead focus on the fact Our Duke has more chance winning at the festival than Annamix!:very_drunk:

The best thing about being on here is you won't be alone mate. Big hit my end too, but hey, it was an absolute gutter, as that's 2 years running for me, but I will be back, and I will be positive regarding my remaining bets.
 
Does anyone know the max payout for bet365. I thought it was £1 million but terms say an industry sp must be declared and 100k for anything else. Does that mean where a is price taken its restricted to 100 k?

Don't think so... I'd read that to mean unless they can't get an SP on the day ... but they will so your million is safe...

Last year was £2m, not sure if they have reduced it this year.

Seeing as my £10k on Annamix, Samcro and Finians Oscar has been thrown out I need a new treble. Some value suggestions all about 10/1 each? Anyone?

Espoir d'allen / act of valour triumph.

All run this week so very risky but expect all 4 to win. Real steel the most dangerous despite his odds tomorrow.

I'd imagine you'll get a run for your money with Salsaretta 12/1 mares novice if Cap Soleil is a bit short?

Min in the Ryanair and Our Duke in the Gold Cup :D:devilish:

Top Notch rock solid for a place in the Ryanair if he's still an alright price and you're going each way!

You not think our duke is a huge risk now? Iv crossed him off my list of potential GC winners.

I think he went to a huge price and looking at the rest of the market, he's one of the only ones who is proven to stay the distance near the head of the market...

Thistle - not visually and not done it yet
SJ - definitely stays GC trip
MB - not proven yet, more suited to Kempton etc
Yorkhill - not been further than 2m5f yet
BDM - probably stays it?
NAtive River - stays
Douvan - no proof
Our Duke - STAYS
Djakadam - splits opinion, I say he does but last year was his year
Disko - unproven stayer
Coneygree - stays.

Of those 4, at 7/1, 12/1, 16/1 and 25/1 I'd be witrh Our Duke still at 16/1 ... Coneygree you couldn't have ante post anyway.... and I always think about Syncronised not being class but staying.

Synchronised had a bit of class to be fair. Id give our duke little chance as his jumping as a novice wasnt up to scratch and i dont think hed be able to make up the ground that he did in his novice races such as the strong pace the gold cup is ran at, but that's just my own opinion.
But having back surgery and out until Feb would leave me no hope what so ever.
 
I have a feeling Hendo has left some work off Buveur D’Air and he won’t impress today, so Faigheen backers might want to press before the race, I’ll be a BD backer and expect to get a better price for the Champion tomorrow than I can today...

I think the opposite personally with a smooth victory here he could shorten up a pt. I'd be disappointed if he diddnt win easily.
 
I'll also be disappointed if he doesn't win smartly today. Even if Hendo leaves plenty to work on, BAD should be far too good for these.

I'd be backing him now for the CH.
