I'm hoping he was already quite far forward in his work and confident enough that he's now inline for the Supreme after a couple of defeats. Can see him staying on well enough over 2m though, if he does go for the race :)
The only thing I hope for is a weakish 2 mile maiden hurdle and he would look a complete different horse. I'd send him to another class4 novice under a penalty then go from there.

I can see him going for a competative supreme trial somewhere next. Maybe the tolworth Which would be the wrong way about it Imo.

Same race FO contested, may want to retain that title for connections I guess. IF he runs in it and wins it he comes back in the reckoning too as a live outside chance.

Without meaning to sound brutal.

Not at all I appreciate you taking the time to explain your reasoning so thoroughly. :encouragement:

You must have been happy to see Jury Duty win yesterday as it boosts the form of BM’s 16 length defeat of him at Cork.

There seems to be a lot of comments from jockeys over the ground at Cheltenham, especially on the Sunday. This could be something to bear in mind for some of the beaten horses as it would certainly have inconvenienced many horses and this would be backed up by the number of non runners too.

I won't blindly forgive some runs (Dame De Compagnie) as she had form on soft ground in France but I will factor it in for sure.

"We had 12mm of rain yesterday on good to soft ground that's turned it soft and heavy."

The ground was undoubtedly testing after Saturday's downpour – jockey Stan Sheppard described it as "like galloping through PVA glue" – while champion rider Richard Johnson added: "The weather we had yesterday was horrendous and it's got very soft. Unfortunately it's got very tacky today.

Was thinking on the lucky 15 I posted in the previous festival form thread. Don't see a point including Melon now Faugheen is back and some of the prices have contracted to not make it as appetising an each way play but still weighing this up as a trixie

JLT - Willoghby Court
RSA - Monalee
GC - Might Bite

FYI for those who missed the thread, this is a play purely going from the work on previous festival form

No mention of Chacun Pour Soi in there either, Riccis horse to follow in OJA book? Never mentioned in interviews yet either? I tweeted Joe Chambers and he said should be out before Christmas so who knows

Patrick Mullins, On The Line with Chapman said he isn't going to be out too soon... did say he was a Ricci Novice Hurdler... but didn't seem to be that aware of him lol

Pretty sure Patrick got that wrong, didn't think he had Novice Hurdle status anymore?

Yeah liek I said, he seemed a little clueless haha.

I missed the comments on Yorkhill?.....

Topped up on the Annamix & Samcro double... Had another 2pt win @ 70/1.

Already got 5pt win at 250/1 from September, so hoping this will make my festival worth while - i'll guess we will know after the very first race!!

Completely off topic and nothing to do with Cheltenham

But

I just rewatched Yorkhills race at punchestown, his raw speed is so incredible and when you look at what horses like Wicklow Brave and Max Dynamite have done on the flat, wouldn’t these top 2 milers absolutely smash an ascot Gold Cup?

For example Faugheen was back at the end of last season but not quite ready for Punchestown, would the thought have come to Willie/Riccinabout that sort of thing?

Fingers crossed for you..... surprised you've gone in again with 5 pts at that price :triumphant:

Decided this will be my final AP bet until the new year, so hoping Annamix comes out and wins impressively which will make the 70/1 look huge too! Looking forward to seeing Samcro again on Sunday!!

Tin soldier/ alboum photo would also interest me if I saw future entries over fences.

Tin Soldier entered in Gowran beginners on Saturday and Al Boum Photo at Navan on Sunday.

That would be presenting percy for me.
I'd have thought tin soldier would end up too good for that, his novice looks a decent race and unless hes a price i wont be getting stuck in this weekend.

Even with the new 145 ceiling, they won't be able to get Percy into the Kim Muir
