Just watched the Limini race from earlier, along with the reaction from Mullins...
That was a VERY good performance and Limini. I didn't think i'd be saying this before the race but I would definitely go down the CH route with Limini now. Visually that was as taking as a performance from any of the major players in the champion hurdle market for me. Travelled wonderfully, jumping was slick and showed a turn of foot you'd want in a champion hurdler. Looks to have improved considerably from her runs last year and it's clear from Mullins reaction that they were blown away by it too.
I would certainly go with Limini over VVM in the CH now. 2m4 looks ideal for VVM with 2 miles looking to be too short and lacking the stamina for the stayers (albeit see would hold her own in either). Willie is very much a trainer who shifts his pack on how his horses are at the time and with Limini looking to be in such good form and VVM only just coming back to herself I think we'll be seeing her in the supplement stage...
