Saturday 10th September

Three at Donny and two at Leopardstown for me today:

Red Pike 16/1
Breton Rock 7/1
Sword Fighter 14/1
Renneti 10/1 (cliff horse)
New Bay 9/1.

Im keen to take on the favourite in the leger, likewise, not sure the three year olds should be as short as they are in Ireland.

Each way double
Third time lucky, Do 4.50
Renfrew street, Do 5.25
Thinking about Thunder Snow in the opener, seems to be the one with the form in the book, connections appear to be very keen on Rivet though so may just watch, haven't made my mind up yet but 3's seems a decent price, any thoughts?

Welcome back MrM - it seems a while since you posted on here.

My worry about Thunder Storm is the ground, i don't know how much rain Donny have had but I don't think TS would want it too soft.

1mm overnight FM, very little since, good, good to firm in places, clerk said on Morning Line ground would ride quicker than yesterday

Thanks FM, not a huge follower of the flat, will be on more going forward, been reading regularly though, there are some great new posters on I have to say, looking forward to best NH season ever building up to the best festival ever.
My thinking around Thunder Snow is that he is proven at group level whereas it needs a fair step up for Rivet to achieve more, could do it of course, but may just watch the race

Good to see you again Mr M.
I agree re Rivet, I've played 3 places Majeste too as this one could easily proce better than the fav, totally unexposed
