Not to punish the horse, but Ruby, Mulling and Ricci all have a hand in this and are all accountable. Rather than enhance the Ryanair at the expense of the Gold Cup, they've weakened both races and the Festival is worse off.
With no Coneygree and no Vautour, the Gold Cup is now a bang average renewal. This was supposed to be one for the ages. Not to be.
