2015 Ryanair Chase

TDS is a great shout there Lessey. Would be good to find out who's preferred and who's riding the Jonjo horses in this race.

Even though JS was pricewised it didnt effect his odds by much. More movement with BN.

I would suggest being it's his last festival and sentiment etc, 90% of the time AP will be allowed to ride what he wants. JP obviously has Uxizandre but I reckon AP will be on TdS. It was the same arrangement in last years JLT with Richie McLernon riding Uxi and I can't see AP getting off a previous festival winner.

I really like JS but I think he's one of those unforunate horses that is a top rate handicapper and just not quite up to winning at graded level. 10s is plenty short enough for him and although riskier can see the value in BN's price

Anyone think shark might change tack and send Hidden Cyclone to the Ryanair now ?

Looks like someone on Betfair does. Into 25 there and best price 20s with Betway. Bet365 12s with NRNB.

Paddy Power holding the line on Champagne Fever -still 12s and 24 on Betfair.

Hidden Cyclone yes.

Champagne Fever will stand his ground I reckon

Has someone recently tipped up Ma Filleule? Blue across the OC board and now 7/1.

Paz or MG -

LR Day 3 Selection.

Race: Ryanair
Selection: Ballynagour
Odds: 25/1 (23/02/15)

FJ Spotlight: (Tipped up before Pricewise)
Bolted up in last years Festival Plate (John's Spirit was 15L back in 4th). In 2013 he was the stables big gamble and backed off the board into 7/2fav for the same race but did not live up to expectations, but made amends the following year in clear cut style. Had a similar prep last year where he pulled up in a single prep run in November, though this time was the Hennesey so they must have some belief in the horse. Pipe is the master of getting his horses ready after a lay off and with Dynaste out I think he will have Ballynagour fit and ready for this race. The negative is that he will be going off level weights. General 25/1 ap or 16/1 NRNB could well be the stables big gamble.

I think these FJ acca suggections need to be within the acca threads. The judges will find it hard to keep track on everyones picks due to other conversations happening in the same thread.

Maybe they need their own thread, per day?

Jonjo is another one who seems to struggle to keep a horse at the top of his game for more than 1 or 2 seasons

I personally don't think Taquin has been that bad this year. Just running over a trip that stretches his stamina too far. It would be tragic and a massive backward step in my opinion if last years JLT winner dodged a Grade1 to run in a handicap

It would be a shame but the camp must be thinking about where his best chance of winning will come and the Ryanair looks pretty strong to me

That means he must fancy JS more for the Ryanair!

I can understand O'neil wanting to split two of his better festival chances, but I hope the owners don't want to change from a £300,000 grade 1 to a £90,000 Grade 3 when their charge has a valid chance in the Ryanair.

Did you back TDS Lessey?
