Can anyone remember/have noted down when firms started going NRNB last year?
How about 365?
Happy Xmas and all the best for the festival and 2020, gents
Glad to see everything is lively here still, and makes me even more gutted that I've been double busy with work this year, so not had a chance to get involved, unfortunately.
Think I've < 100 pts invested atm. When it is usually about 300 by now, lol.
A lot went championship races in early January.
Skybet usually do supreme early too.
But the other races were very late with B365 last year, well into mid to late Feb.
Although this year they appear to be pricing for an earlier date I reckon (guessing)
Pretty sure Bet365 were the first last year and did it on New Years Day for all the races they have priced up
I like Tim :encouragement:
fucking racing UK.
split screen with catterick FFS
and then leicester for the finish
amatuers
had a separate channel dedicated to Leopards online, dont know if you have the access.
For all races ?
100% didn't go NRNB till late Feb
Interesting reading people cashing the likes of Mister Coffee and Ferny Hollow for full stake back (no profit) the former is now half the price (appreciate trainers post race comments but still) and although Ferny Hollow failed to win again he’s still only best priced 16s when most were on at 25s I think. As someone said before when the price is this different you are likely to get a free dart next time out assuming they don’t completely flop, as if they get beat chances are they’ll be no worse than the price you backed them at originally and 95% cash out. So cashing out in these situations appears to be mainly for that reason (complete flop next time out) or injury.
Personally, just more selective this year.
Instead of just trying to get as many horses in the book that'll be better than SP, I want the ones I actually think will win as well as beating the SP.
For me, Ferny Hollow has shown enough to suggest that this season is too soon for him to show all his potential. Not disputing that he may well end up a great horse, and I'm not even saying if things dropped right he couldn't win the Bumper this year - I just think I've seen enough to put me off him. As it stands I've seen better bumper horses that may not run in the Bumper (Eric Bloodaxe the main one) but backing a horse to win at Cheltenham just because I don't think another horse will run is not an ideal situation.
Yesterday you said people 'are living in a fantasy world if they think Ferny Hollow can win a Champion Bumper'![]()
