Ryanair 2020

not much else went for me today, trying to think positively that Foodpad has stamped a great chance here! Hopefully not clutching at straws!

He ran a cracker yesterday, jumped and travelled very well, tired late. Very likely the best run of his life.

A Plus Tard 16/1 with Marathon Bet for anyone interested.

They're slooooow

Have 17s any race so will stick with rather than top up... race fit certainly helped there

QUOTES: He had some great runs last year as a novice and I was happy with his first run back this season. We knew he'd come on plenty for it but the favourite was so impressive last year it looked like he'd be difficult to beat over this trip. I wasn't convinced this was our trip but the softened ground helped and he jumped great. We'll probably enter him now in the Champion Chase but in my head he was always going for the Ryanair. I believe he's better going left-handed and I couldn't find a race over two and a half. I think ground would come into play as regards plans (for Cheltenham). He'll probably come back for the 2m race [Dublin Chase] here in February - Henry de Bromhead, trainer of A PLUS TARD

Fairly clear where he's going then!

We could get another Heavy ground Festival especially with how wet it's been so far. The table levels are very high do it would only take a few days heavy rain even if we have a dry/warm start to March. He could still go CC. He is in same boat as Defi somewhat. Depends a lot on Altiors form/health come March too. The 'handicapper' certainly showed his worth today though in no uncertain terms.

Wouldn't get too carried away, Ordinary World wasn't far enough away to go crazy.

If CPS needed the run at all it could have been flattering.

My point was that he was priced as if he was already graded class... fortunately for me I got to back him after seeing he probably is at the same price people had taken before her ran today

More a visual man me. Never get carried away by how far/close other horses finish as they could also have ran below par or improved. Worked ok for me over the years so I aint changing now. Certainly worked for me and my Fez AP's these last 2 days. Everything has won ! Not counting any chickens yet though, LOL !

Some training performance if they've got ordinary world to improve a stone.

Using how wet its been recently to predict the weather in March. Jesus wept

Yeah funny one this as they've shortened him for the GC, but not bothered here.

Maybe they know something... with A Plus Tard going to this race, maybe they fancy a crack at the GC this year?

The joy of cashout means Im going to add him though!

Monalee tempting anyone at 33s after today?

I took a punt on him on the exchanges at 169/1 a few weeks back.

Was disappointing last year, I wanted a very bold front running ride in the Ryanair.

I don't think he's going to see out 3m2f well

It's a no brainer at 33/1. He got a soft lead in a slow run race today. No way is he a gold cup horse but you never know with bloody owners

Very nice price :)

Agree completely about the ride. He's got so much pace they should definitely try and make all in this race.
