Champion Hurdle 2020

28/1 is skinny in the hope he flops on chase debut.

Can you cash out and tickle the exchanges? They must be a bigger price?

They're not going to be scared of the novice chase divisions either at this stage. He could be the Arkle fav in less than 24 hours.

I can't see the value. They could get beat tomorrow and come out and say he's going back hurdling and you'd still get a fair price?
 
Fussil Raffles is the right price now isn't he?

Interested to see what the people who backed him at shorter think about his price now.

Bubble burst in my opinion but every horse has a price and he's one I'm wary could make me look stupid.


If you believe anything about yards gambling you'd think people knew he wasn't beating Epatante today. Late, late, late money is usually right send that seemed an almighty move?

Was thinking that myself Kev actually, still a lot more to be decided in this race but it is a little all over the place right now.

Not convinced today’s Christmas Hurdle did much in the way of give us a definitive answer and hence I’m still happy to sit and watch to see if City Island is rerouted at a nice price.

Good call. It will be interesting to see what they do now. This race has to has to tempting after that round of jumping.
 
Epatante to go straight to Churdle. Big player.
 
Really fancy Couer Sublime to cause another upset and beat Klassical Dream tomorrow. For me he is the big improver this season and you sense that Gordon feels he could be a proper Churdle horse. Can see KD being upped in trip to Stayers if he looks one paced again. Not sure he's listed anywhere for that ??
 
You'd want 1000/1 for him to run in the Stayers.

The Supreme Hurdle winner won't ever run in the following years Stayers Hurdle.

Would he miss Cheltenham altogether then do you think ? Can't see them going chasing at this late stage and no point turning up in Churdle if he gets outpaced again surely? If anyone offered 1000/1 Stayers, everyone on here would get on... including yourself !!

Has anyone seen a price on him for 2021 Churdle or on him to win at festival next year and in 2021? I'd be very interested.

It’s genuinely one of the craziest betting markets I’ve ever seen.

Coeur Sublime 3/1? Really? I wouldn’t touch him at 8/1.
Sharjah is going to struggle on the softened ground (I do like the horse but soft ground isn’t his cup of tea).
Apples Jade won’t run two days in a row.

I’m staggered that Klassical Dream is Odds against. I’ve had a max bet. Honestly expected to see him at 8/15 in that field.

He’s 6/5 with Hills. If he doesn’t go off odds on, I’ll be stunned. Win or lose, I can’t ignore 6/5 for Klassical Dream after the way he won last season and the way he looked like probably needing the run last time but still finishing a close second. He’s a miles better horse than Coeur Sublime. In a two horse match race, it would be 1/6 Klassical dream for me.

Will be gutted if KD doesn’t put that lot on the going to the sword !
 
The behaviour of Klassical Dream at the start and his nuttiness has to be a worry for anyone having big bets on him.
He got away with it in the supreme, but at this level it has to lessen his chances.
I'd like to see him win , but don't really care.

The mare of hendersons has improved significantly and whilst she beat a few iffy champion hurdle contenders the other day, at least she did it in good style and at least there were a few of them, not just 3 or three.
The formlines make her clearly the best in the UK.

Very fortunate to have got on, and it's probably only cos she's a mare as I've given her backers some stick in the last 12 months or so.
she needed to improve 25lbs and she has (some will, many won't)
