I’d say the post race result may have more of an impact than a declaration!
 
Bet365 cut chantry house to 8/1 for this, PP still holding the 25’s with cash out if anyone is interested.....I quite liked his performance today though still couldn’t be sure where he’ll end up.

Yeah thought it was quite telling he mentioned a step up in trip for the other one straight away but didnt say that about CH.

40/1 for the Supreme will do nicely, in what doesn't seem the deepest race right now.
 
I dont mind where he goes. But if you were to put Chantry house in the 2M bracket, that would be 3 for JP that would seem to be pencilled in for the supreme already. They'll sort themselves out to some degree, but looks a dangerous game already with flip flopping on the horizon.

If you were to put him in the 2m5 bracket that would be 3 aswell with Elixir & Andy D! Way too early to be pigeonholing targets anyway as you say they’ll hopefully sort themselves out.

Totally agree with the bigger owners, if you can get on early enough any race at decent odds makes all the difference I would say.

Obviously there are plenty we will play on specific targets but when they have so many sometimes taken a little hit on the odds isn’t a bad thing.

Takes the stress away of the target and can just enjoy them running (provided good enough and injury free)
 
Went no gallop at all which obviously isn’t going to help. Looked quite an awkward ride to me and I’d be surprised if he turned up in he supreme or the Ballymore to be honest.
 
Wouldn’t like to guess at that but just watching the run I think there’s a lot of work to be done before thinking about the festival. With all JP’s other options I don’t think this boy will be near the top of the list. I’d say slowly slowly with him and maybe miss this year for Aintree.

They’ve said that since his point win. They were talking him up as a potential Gold Cup horse for the future. Breeding would point to at least middle distances.

Defo- Best Mate & Kicking King we’re gold cup horses but ran in the Supreme as novices. Where they end up & where they’ll run as novice hurdlers doesn’t always tally.
