Setting aside my nerves over Santini has to be what gets in the Fred Winter. I am sure there are lots of people nervous over the Ballymore though

The other is the ballymore depending on where anyone's backed Allaho / easy game

Earlier in the season I'd have said Santini being possibly out is a disaster. But the other two are now bigger winners for me after the prep he has had. So I've had to re-valuate my position...

Still nice he probably runs however. :)
 
Santini is going to have to live up to his hype and some if his is to win this off the prep he's had. I have him at a price but I just can't see past TOTG or DW

From Nicky’s Unibet blog....

The only news I can tell you about Santini is that we have declared him for the RSA on Wednesday and, at the moment, everything seems fine. We were happy with him this morning and we have to be happy tomorrow as well but there was a very, very big difference today compared to yesterday so I hope we are now fully back on track, but because we lost a few days we’ve had to move on and do more with him than we usually would this close to a race, which could, and god forbid it doesn’t, switch him back again as we all saw what happened last week but I must admit he was very good this morning.

So basically if he is declared a NR nobody will be surprised and say Hendo hasn't been up to speed with telling people what is going on

Can see it going close next year in the gold cup, but also could say that about the second & third, that was a good race with three great horses.

Had a sneaky feeling there was more in Topofthegames locker after Kempton he was very green! Will come on loads again next season!
 
Bit disappointed with Delta Work.

It looked to me as if Russell has got there too soon but probably the biggest factor was his jumping. It seems to have backwards over the last two runs. That probably cost him more than the winning margin. Elliott not exactly on fire either.

The counter argument is that might be as good as he is but I am not so sure. Hopefully, they will all meet again on a quicker surface.
