Most the Betfair preview panel were sweet on monalee and Barry Orr said she definitely runs here. Anything to back that up cause I can't find any quotes from HDB?

Totally agree... getting stuck in at 7/1. Think he should probably be fav for the race myself.... certainly cant see why he is almost double the price of Monalee.

Have this race firmly between RtR and Monalee now.
 
Agree CCM on the price!

He should be close to fav if not fav. Footpad if he had a clear year would be a hotpot but he hasn't + his form last year is windy enough for all he looked great.

I'd have them joint favs ahead of Monalee in my head anyway.
 
I'm dead against Footpad myself jack... Cannot believe his price! Just such a leap of faith for him to be favourite, and Im not not convinced he will truly get this trip against proper stayers like Monalee and RtR.
 
Well done for highlighting the NRNB price a week or so back. Was a very smart bet then in hindsight

He said he would have a word with John hales as he still might run.......he didn't mention a preference of any race though.
 
Not much chat on Coney Island but at 33/1 has to be worth a bet - watched the race over Christmas a couple of times. Although not ever going to win, traveled very well until it clattered the last and emptied out. Two years ago it was very highly thought off so if at eight it has reached anywhere near the potential, I would have thought that it has a cracking chance here
