Basically in a normal Arkle he’d be definitely out, this year they will be giving it every chance

Now this race is literally the worst renewal- i am coming back around to Paloma Blue even without the DRF run..
Course form, hopefully a very fast pace for him to just sit behind. Hopefully his jumping survives and improves. Yes a few hopes in there- but its a god awful race + he'll handle any ground.
People can crab him and say hes been unconvincing, i can't disagree with that, but even if Real Steel had stayed up, he looked to be beating him for me, and he's fancied in a poor JLT.
He's a fruitcake, but the abilities there.

Totally agree Jack. Ive all my eggs in the Lalor basket but wanted a saver and have backed this one at 11/1 with the Hills boost today.
And a small double with Real Steel. If PB goes in it will be a nice boost for Real Steel.

His time just doesn't fill me with confidence. Under 3secs faster than the handicap and the winner carried 13lb more. Now in fairness GF was nearly 5 seconds quicker from the railway fences to the 3rd last and loses a bit from 2nd last to home which is understandable.
Anyone be worried about him left handed? Only win is a handicap over just shy of 3m off 114.

I cant remember the specific formline off the top of my head - but I remember that earlier in the season Ruby was quite dismissive of that form given a line through Ornua. He said something along the lines of the form being suspect because Ornua's form was not all that. Sorry to be a bit vague but thought I should mention it. It stuck in my mind.
