Ultima Handicap Chase 2019

I thought Minella Rocco may have been in here to keep the weights down for JP's other horses Jerrysback.

Really like Coo Star though and he gets back form I fully expect at the very least a place.

the points system I devised is to stop the 2nd & 3rd getting more points than the winner. if you've a better idea let me know.

I thought you mean if your horse wins I give 16 pts to charity?

There has to be more points for getting the winner than the 2 placed horses. Its a 20quid bet. We could just pick 1 horse, and whoever finishes highest wins. Either way, or a different way, I'm easy.

He means the three horses you pick will score points as he's mentioned.
Whoever gets most points wins. loser pays 20 quid.
although there is no need for the points system if the bet surrounds just one race.

Just highest finisher is easiest then (otherwise I'll be at quite an advantage having got 45s for Coo Star and 33s for Minella Rocco etc) - if your best placed horse is ahead of mine, I'll pay £20 to the charity :encouragement:

Pretty much covered Q. I just think the winner should score more points than the 2nd & 3rd combined. Hence the points system.
 
One horse each whoever finishes higher wins easy peasey

Yeah, but going three places means there's no need if you think about it.
Unless you put fourth in as 1 point.
Then if one of you gets the winner and the others gets 2,3,4.
which would be good going.
It's be a draw.
and then you both give £20 to charity.
everyone's happy then.

2,3,4 would only give you 15pts on that basis. So 2 points for 4th would work.
Im happy either way. 1 Horse, or 4.
 
I'll have Minella Rocco .... you just have to have 1 to beat him?

adding up went wrong,
think what kev said is simples anyway.
although I do this with my mate every year for the national.
He had winner one year and i had 2nd 3rd 4th - moral winner i reckon.
