Mares Novice Hurdle 2019

If ever there was a NRNB to make, it's Allez Dance at 25s for this race... based on that declaration

Completely agree, and have backed accordingly although my enthusiasm is tempered by Billy’s info that he’s unlikely to turn up.

Exactly Hfly, he's there for a ride, and i'd have hoped/liked to see Ruby ride her if he had her on his mind for his MN ride. Might not matter if she wins handy anyway but still.

Paul Townend needs wins still.... and Ruby won't take any risks this time of year? Especially after the amount of time missed this season already!

Christ, Allez Dance is a little short tomorrow! Wasn't expecting her to be that short.

Bet365 opened up 7/4, now 8/13 with them :very_drunk:

8/13 for the Mares Novice 24 hours from now :p

365 taking a big chance leaving her 25s NRNB.... could be Fakir take 2!!! Lump on what you can I think - if she wins tomorrow will be 7s

Am I the only one scratching my head at this Allez Dance 'love fest'? I have a lot of respect for Scooby's knowledge of French form and the Stormy Ireland collateral form is strong, however... where is the rest of the evidence? She was well beaten in her last two (fairly low grade) races and the winners of both of these races were themselves pulled up when raised to Listed class next time out. Good luck to everyone who is on her, and happy to be proved wrong, but she is not for me. Tomorrow's race could not be any poorer quality Kev so, some how, I doubt your 8/13 prediction will come true! :devilish:

BOF - Lay her tomorrow at 8/13 and back her with 365 at 25s for the festival - easy money

More a matter of it being risk free BoF...

25/1 NRNB - the market is crying out for a Mullins mare to take the market by the scruff of the neck.

If Mullins can work his magic, then she becomes a very interesting player... if not, she doesn't run.

The french form is in open company and looks alright... it's more a case of Mullins being the key than the French form for me...

and I advise people to take 25/1 NRNB if they can, as if she wins she'd shorten regardless...if she doesn't, no way she's running.

The tissue price also had her 2nd fav... so there is clearly SOME that fancy her, having gone from 7/4 to odds on...

Sums it up perfectly really.

FWIW (and probably not much) but she has the same sire as Benie Des Dieux and we know what Willie has done with that one. Allez Dance will be a stayer over time though IMO.

Absolutely right Kev, i’ve topped up as a result of the market support tomorrow. Reminds a bit of the situation with Getabird for the Supreme last year before his first run. This play is absolutely dependent on it being NRNB and with cash out you may even get the chance to make a profit if she hacks up tomorrow but isn’t heading to the Festival

Understand the logic guys and it makes total sense; she may well win a poor race tomorrow. And, you're right, you can't go wrong at 25/1 NRNB; if she wins, she will be much shorter and , if she doesn't, she won't be going.

I think the Racing Post got me in a bad mood today by this headline: Cheltenham countdown: five of the biggest opening-day shocks
I then spent too many brain cells coming up with Beech Road and Ebaziyan only to find, when clicking on the link, they were only discussing 'shocks' in the last decade.

She will be at her best up in trip, v unfortunate at Leop, I’d say more likely to go Mares novice than not but not definite - Fairyhouse race ideal for her however and prob her main target.

Not a ringing endorsement.

He does seem a fairly tongue-in-cheek character on twitter from the very small sample I've looked at?

Maybe not that confident, but happy he has mentioned the race for her, a place will do (aslong as Allez Dance is the 'right one') as have her @ 33's.
