Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle (Fred Winter) 2019

....not sure if Katpoli’s run was part of the plan or whether it’s not very good.

It was strange as he ran a good race behind Quel Destin earlier in the season and a mark of 132 from that form would still interest me.

Be interesting what they do with Couer Sublime's mark Monday.
Still think it's coming here.

Certainly does not look good enough for the Triumph. If they do send him over then he may run here. He’ll probably be nearer the top of the weights but it will be his only chance.

One to finally scratch off my early season shortlist.

Dogon's run was interesting. Powell took a pull the whole way around and did the quick 2 tap to make it look like he was trying.

Yeah he did indeed, hopefully his mark is pretty much untouched and he gets in here.

Dogon will have no trouble getting in, it’s more the fact he’ll be nearer the top of the weights to the bottom.

Dr newland has a lovely one to look out for, for this.

Rose sea has

Will be in his name. But hes not done the training.

...entered to run next weekend, only 16-1 for this so it appears the bookies know its is a good one.

What really matters is what mark they receive. As the entry is for a conditions race you’ll have to wait for an OR when the handicap entries are made.

Dogon is 40-1 NRNB..... worth a couple of quid Scooby?

Looks like he added him today himself at 36/1, so I'd say yes...

The 5 lb drop done him no harm as has been mentioned :)

Couer Sublime
He scoped wrong after running at Gowran Park on Saturday, so it’ll be touch and go whether he gets to Cheltenham or not. He’s a good horse. In slightly different circumstances, he would have been three from three going into Gowran Park. We’ll see how he is in the next 10 days.

Does the top rated flat horse stat for this race still hold ?
