Always thought Labaik would be the stables no.1 conender in the CH :devilish:

Stubbornly still hopeful this will be the case, would like to see an entry sooner rather than later & as soon as I do the 40’s will be gobbled up! I probably have a soft spot for the mad bastard after he returned my biggest priced single return ever in 2017 but he his form when kicking off is impossible to ignore.

Nicky Henderson was on Luck on Sunday at the weekend and said Laurina was coming over to run in the International at the weekend.

Cannot see entries yet and the race is re-opened but 8 entries.

Just asked on other thread about how we can find out the original entries. As I wondered if we might see her or melon this saturday

update on everybodies favourite horse...

If The Cap Fits could drop back down to two miles for the Unibet Christmas Hurdle at Kempton rather than step up in trip for the JLT (Long Walk) Hurdle at Ascot.
The Harry Fry-trained gelding won the Coral Hurdle at Ascot over two and a half miles on his latest start, after finishing second in the Elite Hurdle at Wincanton last month.
That was his first run since landing the novice hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day. A return to the Sunbury track could be on the cards, although the Long Walk over three miles at Ascot on December 22 is the alternative.
“He’s good. Obviously he’s got the entry in the Long Walk and the Christmas Hurdle, so I don’t know,” Jason Maguire, racing manager to owners Paul and Clare Rooney, told At The Races.
“Noel Fehily was keen to go for the Christmas Hurdle. The other day you could argue he maybe was a bit flat, which is why he didn’t travel as well as he can.
“I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t rule out the Christmas Hurdle at the minute.”

Not a good sign really is it ? they appear to be searching

I'd take Noel Fehily's positivity about him as a positive.

For a man that'd be able to ride Summerville Boy, I think it's notable?

I meant in a Champion Hurdle....

Fehily being so pro-ITCF is just tickling a little alarm bell deep in my mind...

He might have the Key, or the secret

You'd be mightily worried if laurina dosent win this easily. But what have you found out if she does?

You've atleast found out she's good. Hard to compare to buveur dair last time out though.

You'd have found out she can take the next step up. Obviously not to winning a CH against BD, but one step at a time is all they can do.

Summerville Boy & Vision Des Flos has some form line baring Buveur D'air though, which is at least something.

Brain Power, the most over hyped horse in the last few years, just because he can go a gallop with Altior at home :highly_amused:

Just be happy to see her big fat arse.
Probably won't get as good a view as the New One and Co though.

I’d like to think SB will come on for the run, but would expect/need it to be double digit lengths back to third to take any notice

Just be nice to see her run, if she wins well then great.

If she doesn't then at least we will all know her target and can cash out if we so wish.

Whether I'm financially involved or not, personally hope she does the business to at least make the CH look competitive.

We shall hopefully see.
