Ruby on RUK today said Blackbow has speed to be a 2 miler. Tornado Flyer and Carefully Selected likely to step up in trip. Picked Energumene when asked about the French recruits.

Mullins and Walsh are tying me in knots regards the likely preferred trips for Blackbow and Tornado Flyer. Can't they just say they're not sure rather than contradicting each other and themselves. Glad Energumene exists ��
 
Have to remember that they thought Getabird wanted a trip until he surprised Patrick on board over hurdles and he ended up being their 2 miler.

We need them to start running so we can start having informed opinions rather than guesswork! Exciting as it is :)
 
I think one of Tornado Flyer or Blackbow will end up here. Not sure which yet mind.
 
Makes me think Scooby has it right in regards To annamix and blackbow being their best so will be split accordingly.
 
Blackbows target will boil down to whether he’s learned to settle into his races this season. He won’t be running in the Ballymore if he pulls like he did last year. With that in mind I have him covered for both scenarios with bet365.

I know they are different owners but surely they would want to split if both are really that good

Blackbow looks to have a higher ceiling to me. He travels through his races beautifully and finds another gear off the bridle. Perfect mix of speed & stamina for the Ballymore ‘IF’ he calms down.
 
Ruby said Blackbow has more scope 'very athletic'.
 
I've followed FM and backed Blackbow at 25/1 for both races with Bet365 and the cash out option. Seems an absolute no brainer to cover both as you can be fairly sure they will keep all options open as long as possible.

He deffinately said energumene? As he's not a French recruit
 
Just listened to the interview, Ruby says aswell as the bumper horses they have some nice horses from France who until the screw is turned have potential

Oli Bell then asked for a name for someone to follow and Ruby mentioned Energumene


Further to the other summaries he praised Blackbow jumping

Wasn't he a French recruit initially though, that's where Tom Lacey brought him from?

I know all the French ones. A fair few they diddnt mention in the rp tour.

Ah that would make sense being a separate question.
