Will BDA and Lossie both go for the CH? Rare to have a mare go for the Champ hurdle let alone two in the same season. Be great to see and hope they do but surely one will bottle it (Probably Elliott) and take the easier Mares hurdle.

You hope that JDG misses the festival as she is higher rated than Kargese and has form at 2 1/2 miles ?
and that Gala jumps like a stag and goes MC ?
It’s another conundrum where an owner and trainer have three in the race, all with relative chances and logic says that all three will not run in the race !

Obviously there is a long way to go and waiting on a reassessment for Lossiemouth but currently they will only be 3rd and 4th best accounting for the weight allowance. Agree though, I expect it will be a late decision on BDA while they see who will show up, plus what she does in her next race.

Kevin Blake on JDG following his chat with Willie....
......."Mullins went on to reveal that Jade De Grugy has picked up an injury bad enough to rule her out for at least the first half of the season. Considering this, her general price of 4/1 for the Mares’ Hurdle seems to be very optimistic. "

Options of both the 2m and 3m at Xmas then all roads lead to the Mares
ATR questioned what if she beat SM at Xmas, and he basically said he wants a winner at the festival and that would be more likely in the Mares, he sounded shit scared of Lossie.
