We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

2024 Diamond Geezer Cup (Antepost Tipping Competition)
Fully appreciate I'm a long time lurker.
Okay, let's go for
Each participant logs their 1 selection per race
4pts win
3pts 2nd
2pts 3rd
1pt 4th
Standard e/w terms
Then each winner scored at SP. I'll take oddschecker.com best price on the 10th March.
Let me know if this works and i'll set up the tables on Friday.
If that works for you and isn't overly admin intensive then great.
Thanks for stepping up, much appreciated, get the forms out ASAP and set deadline.
Let battle commence....
We have a tipping competition for my Cheltenham group and we have scoring:
10 pts win
4 pts second
2 pts third
1 pt fourth where the tote pays a fourth place
The reasoning being that a win is worth more than 2 second places.
Just a suggestion and, of course, if you're doing the hard work the scoring is absolutely your call.
This isn’t dissimilar to the scoring system we devised years ago when Ryan ran the comp.
I agree winners should receive greater reward but I’m sure we’ll all be happy running with whatever mcolebrook decides so a competition exists….
Absolutely appreciate mcolebrook offering his time for this.
But IMO picking one horse in each race is boring, and we have a similar competition already but at least that has the edge of when to bet and antepost risk attached.
This will just be a load of long lists of mostly favourites and second favourites. And very little thought.

Tbh not having to think too hard feels ideal right now
I really like the archie points scoring and Quevega staking ....
but completely appreciate we've left it too late
This year, keep it simple, but next year if Mr Mole wants to take it on, then let's have it right, as DG Cup deserves to be a staple part of what we do - my bad for not getting it highlighted sooner, won't happen again!

You can do this year as well if you want mcolebrook - or help AaronLad with the simple one he's set up
All a bit of fun and apologies as you're clearly not named after Mr Mole
I've been called a lot worse! You've still to find me a Docklands Express avatar. Given the appetite, I'll put the every race comp up tomorrow and see who bites.
