  • I haven't watched the race back yet but a nice 17 length 3rd for conflated in Darver star's novice chase. Eclair de beaufeau started in this one last year.

Two or three non-runners I can see already.

Who's going to ride his best horses, bearing in mind he normally runs at least 2 per race ?
Looks like Dennis O'Regan might be getting plenty of chances

Maybe he has them backed with cash out like most people seem to do on here? What a different game it would be without that insurance.

              Nod Nod Nod.

It's obviously nowhere near as black and white as this, but I love that it's already on [our] minds

So that's the Grand Annual plunge and the Martin Pipe plunge already sorted by mid October. Bloody easy this game !!!!

                • See Quel Destin runs at bath against tomorrow

5 year old, ran up against some smart horse in open company, often carrying more weight

Wind op, Nicholls flying... sounds like he could go chasing. Could pick up some decent prize money

Very bitter just for fun then.... let's see if we can beat him..... £1 e/w on all selections...

Presenting Percy 50/1 Gold Cup (27th July) - if I'm not allowed that, Monalee 33/1
Defi Du Seuil 16/1 Ryanair - he's gone for a non runner, so this is a free swing
Appreciate It 16/1 Ballymore - feels like another free swing
Thyme Hill 14/1 is fine (I have 16/1 already ) - Thomas Darby at 66/1 would have been a more fitting pick for him though!
The Bomber Liston 50/1 - cheating as bit as his has already flopped but instead of playing safe I'll punt

                    • My attempt, very much geared towards the e/w element this far out. A couple of placed ones could make all the difference.

                      Vinndication 40-1 Gold Cup
                      Fakir Doudairies 25-1 Ryanair
                      Bob Olinger 20-1 Ballymore
                      Lisnegar Oscar 16-1 Stayers
                      Uhtred 33-1 Supreme

                          • Im back in on Energumene (any race market 25/1 WH) , Mullins looked after him last two seasons imo , and im hoping he will be rewarded for his patience this season.

Amazing how some of the bookies priced him up for various races , trips ranging from Arkle to NHC . He was highly regarded in his bumper days and forum backed him accordingly , Im hoping he comes good this season.

                            He who dares Rodney.

Won today over flats. I'm keen to follow this horse in during the early part of the season. Nichols is the right trainer for these sort of horses and I will be following this one in.
Wind Op and put up some decent performance last year despite his age and going battling out in open company

Back into novice company over fences, I think he could win a few

Gives me some room now to back 1-2 others that fit the profile
