Rhyme 'n' Reason- The 1988 Irish Grand National (Fairyhouse)
Mon, Mar 5th, 2012

Rhyme 'N' Reason was bred in Downpatrick, County Down by the highly successful French-bred stallion Kemal out of a mare that was a half-sister to 1984 National winner Hallo Dandy. Sadly this was to be Rhyme 'N' Reason's final race but thankfully the horse won the 1988 Irish Grand National. The jockey on the day was Brendan Powell and the horses trainer was David Elsworth.
