Grand National Betting
Tue, Mar 20th, 2012
With Cheltenham over we can start to think about the Flat now but there is still plenty of life in the 2012 jumps season. While this weeks fare at Newbury might not get us too engaged, the Grand National meetings at Fairyhouse, Aintree and Ayr will. We also have the Punchestown Festival, Cheltenham's April Meeting and the season closer at Sandown coming up. In the UK the Henderson vs Nicholls battle for the trainers title should add a bit of interest, while in Ireland Davy Russell will be hoping to hold off Ruby Walsh and secure his first Irish jump jockeys title. Fairyhouse is first up over Easter, we then run almost straight into the three day Aintree Grand National meeting.
There are dedicated threads to all the Aintree Grand National meeting races on our forum. Trevor Hemmings has a strong hand with last years winner Ballabriggs and the Gold Cup 4th Burton Port likely to be running in his silks. Tony McCoy and Syncrhonised could be going for the Gold Cup/ Grand National double. Here is the latest betting for the big event:
