If it’s each way, L’Ami serge is a cracking bet imo.
My early selection was The Worlds End but that is now more in hope that the better ground will suit so I can certainly understand the appeal of L'Ami Serge for the Yankee and add my vote to include him.

My current thoughts on the races for the Thursday:

JLT - Finian's Oscar (still think he's overpriced now).

Pertemps - Louis' Van Pouch, The Organist or Connetable.

Ryanair - Yorkhill (IF he runs).

          Stayers' - Supasundae.

Brown Advisory - Romain De Senam or Ballyalton.

          Mares' Novice - Laurina

Very keen on Mall Dini if he goes for the Kim Muir but he could go 4 miler.

Think he’s dropped to a good weight and being kept for the festival.

I'll feel sick backing L'ami Serge to win a race

If we're aiming for places we're not going to be making any profit..... the places should be back up, not the goal

i like this but although i have no strong fancy for the stayers i would probably replace Sam spinner, not 100% what with, probably Bacardys if i was pushed

Delta work in the Pertemps if he gets qualified.

Can see FO reversing the form, let alone some of the others being too strong.

If I got to choose between a win or each way yankee, I have to say, I’d sway more towards a win one lads..

WIlloughby Court is really solid as a decent priced fav IMO. I think it is very fair to say that whatever passes him after the last would have the race won. I know it is hurdles, and cases and points have been made in more more detail in that thread, but I genuinly believe the ability to hold off Neon Wolf last season means we could be confident he won't get headed.
I appreciate he was beaten by Yanworth, but Pauling was in terrible form and they didn't run WC from the front...

I almost can't believe I am saying it, but if Finian's Oscar wasn't already a huge chunk of potential for me I'd consider him too big a price on his actual talent. He deserves to be shorter than Benetar on their running, and would have been in the mix in that WC, NW Neptune looking at his run at Aintree

Or Al Boum Photo would be my pick however if on Sunday we knew he was coming here I imagine his price would have collapsed.
