Elliott and Gigginstown account for five of the nine entries*in the Grade 3 For Auction Novice Hurdle on the Navan card and the exciting Samcro, unbeaten in three bumpers last season and an impressive 15-length winner on his debut over hurdles at Punchestown last month, is among them.

"The plan is to run Samcro and maybe one or two others in the For Auction. Samcro came out of his Punchestown win in good form and we're looking forward to Sunday," Elliott said.

I hope he runs mengli khan, so I can start to think samcros as good as every one else does.

Next destination v pallasator v someday. Over 2m3 tomorrow. Someday has been disappointing recently but no idea what to expect form the other 2.

Station master 3rd behind IF THE CAP FITS won well today, i expect if the cap fits to win well tomorrow over 2miles in a strong race under a penalty, before moving up in grade and trip.
Mont des avaloirs is a nice horse as you will see in the last race where Russian doyen runs who he beat nicely last time. And kilbricken storms form is strong finishing just behind the pair of one for the road Tom and lalor in what i think was the strongest 2 mile novice race ran so far this year.

Wincanton on Saturday*

Our first runner is*If The Cap Fits*SP*in the National Hunt novices’ hurdle at 12.40pm.

He won nicely on his hurdling debut at Exeter last month, although he’ll be facing softer ground here.

He carries a penalty, but it’s important to get experience into these novices.

I’m not concerned about the drop back to two miles, even though he’ll probably be running over two and a half in the spring.

We’re looking forward to seeing him back in action. He’s a lovely young horse and is pretty high up the pecking order of our novice hurdlers.

Samcro entered up on Sunday in the same race labaik won last season , 1st time iv considered posting about samcro on the supreme thread. If Gordon takes out all his other runners will be another simularly weak race and easy pickings.
If he fancied picking up some more prize money i would really rate SAMCRO if he beat mengli khan well. I really like mengli khan. He could well have improved as much as messire des des beaux did as a second season novice. And if he dosent run here, he Could well be overpriced In the royal bond.

No samcro which was a shame so I could get a handle on his form, but mengli khan did it well

White Moon entered up for cheltenham this weekend coming. Looking forward to seeing this horse in action again. Not so impressed with Mengil Khan today. looked quite ordinary Imo.

That's a very tough race for white moon. Currently 8/1 for that race if you fancy him.

What ever else runs, poetic rhythm is a decent guide. Im hoping the current fav vision des flos gets an entry for the 2 mile race the day after. I know tizzard runs slate house in that, Waiting to see entries tonight.

I did see that not sure he runs but shantou village won and went for the bartlett. Couldn't see him winning THIS race at all though. I'd have poetic rhythm a little shorter and same for palmers hill. Vision des flos a very nice horse that will come on for debut especially as he was held back with ringworm but not sure why he's fav. I really hope they try him over 2 miles. But obviously Mr tizzard knows alot more than me.

Looks like my fancy is the 2nd string sadly. Palmers Hill is of interest.
