Bet365 the latest to be added to the list of bookies who no longer want my custom.
Last week they gave me my weekly loyalty bonus, 3 days later they are placing 'restrictions' on my account, however, when challenged no-one was able to confirm what level of restriction was applied and of course the typical customer services scripted response offers no answers.
So I attempted to place a bet on a horse to see what I could get on and the max bet button revealed that I was allowed a maximum bet of £1
That's not a restriction, that's a two fingers #### off we don't want to see you anymore.

Laughable from a company with 25 million customers.
My understanding was that 365 were one of the better ones, sadly not.

Paddy Power, Sid James, Tote, Hills, Betfair Sportsbookm Chandlers and now 365 added to the red card list.

Any advice on others who permit bets above a fiver ?

From my experience they are all as bad as each other.

If you live in a town or city, your best option is to go round the shops on a Saturday morning. The rest of the week is a struggle though.

That is bad news Ista. What did you place to trigger it do you think? Or a series of events?

Blacktype? I hear they don't place any restrictions and allow some heftier bets, never usually bet price but that goes without saying.

I guess the "badge of honour" for being successful doesn't outweigh the annoyance of not being able to place a bet!

I have started to have some of my bets referred by 365 - they were one of better ones for a long time but sky definitely out did them on odds for this Cheltenham. They are all looking for degenerate gamblers rather than considered punters like us

Have been keeping my discipline since NH season finished but itching to back something again...

Sky are making a big effort these days, presumably in prep for ATR switching to Sky racing channel ?

365 boast 25m customers, probably alot of losers in there or they'd be gone/restricted

I'm a small scale punter but Sky have really upped their game - when I first got into racing I used them a lot as they allowed 5p stakes for my dumb multiples but their prices were always garbage. Now ok prices, good UI

Quite worrying that Ista. Like you said I consider bet365 to be one of the best out there, particular as they seem to often offer the best odds and mostly 1/4 odds antepost throughout.

Makes me wonder whether I should start placing bets in shops where possible over online though them and SkyBet are probably the ones I turn to the most which doesn't help in that regard.

Jono - I even went through the process of throwing some mug football bets in the (correct score, 1st goalscorer etc) so I got plenty of losers on the account, alas it wasn't enough.

My advice to anyone that gets 'wedded' to one bookie is think again, spread bets across several bookies, and if you have an account look after it because eventually if you turn a profit they will shut you down...

I'm not sure it is just turning a profit Ista..... 365 I am up about 500 pts now over 3 years and nothing restricted at all yet...

I know Ladbrokes stopped me for 'only betting with them when they're best priced' which defies all logic of being best priced in the first place to me! That limits me 'spreading around' as often as I perhaps would, however between sky, 365 I usually don't need to deviate much. Fred usually does some fair pushes but I've been on a long losing streak with that! All coincedence of course.

I was over 200 pts up with sky and now well over 100 down despite Cheltenham, I tend not to care about where I win as long as I win haha
