Pendra is entered in both the Ultima Business Solutions Handicap Chase and the Kim Muir at this year's Festival and with owner JP McManus responsible for numerous entries for both races, a decision on Pendra's target will likely be left late.

Longsdon said: "Pendra will run in one of the three-mile handicap chases at the Cheltenham Festival. It depends what the plans are regarding the owner's other horses as to which one he ends up going for.

"He has not run since finishing fourth at Newbury in November as he has had a wind operation. He has been in good form and we could have run him at Warwick, but we thought we would leave it and go straight to Cheltenham.

"We are not bothered about going there fresh as he is a bit more streetwise than last year."

The tipster on Oddschecker was sweet on Pendra, not sure which race for though

Take this one with a pinch of salt, but just had a call from the track for Gold Bullet.

Got this too, Derek O'Connor was given the ride in between two Walsh rides. Been touted as a possible plot.
