She beat the geldings when scoring a comfortable 8-lengths win in a 2m 4f maiden PTP on heavy at Cragmore in February.

Then she was bought for £200k by Willie Mullins' star scout Harold Kirk at the Tattersalls sale in Cheltenham the same month.

She's best price 25-1 for the mares novice hurdle but WH are going the same price TWAR. For some reason Hills don't seem to what to give me their bet boost any more so I haven't backed her yet.

But Brandy Love's PTP win looked pretty decent and Willie's won the mares novice hurdle five times in a row - Concertista being the only one not aged five.

I don't recall her being flagged up on the forum - anyone have a view or know any more about her?

Here's a link to a replay of her PTP win:

Another good reason to back her is that she was named after a Porn star.

Barbary Master for Noel Meade could be one for a handicap - some decent collateral form in his 2 bumpers so far and the further he goes the better he will be.

I noticed this , as you mention, ran in graded races not doing much. Thus preserving their Mark. I will be looking out for them this season.

....just reading the Tizzard stable tour & more specifically his comments re Reserve Tank. 12-1 when injured and pulled-up in the Marsh, Tizzard says RT will be back at Christmas for a Spring Campaign.

The suggestion is RT is on a very attractive mark (146) for a Handicap Chase, whether that’s a Festival Handicap remains to be seen. Probably a bit early to take 33-1 Hills a/r offer.

Not sure a ‘Handicaps’ thread has been started yet, but it might be worth starting to capture likely candidates.

Almost started one a few minutes ago, but last year I started with Column of Fire, and this year it would have been with Mohayeed so I decided against it

I really think the very man is the start of a plot..there was no reason for him to drop off the way he did the other day! Its not like he couldnt handle the pace, Unless something was wrong with him just my opinion i think hes a good horse and was strange he went out like a light

Remember Janika - he's still only 7 but seems to have completely fallen off the radar.

He went off 3-1 favourite for the Brown Advisory at last year's Festival and was a gallant second - failing by 3/4 of a length to give 18lbs to Siruh Du Lac.

That race came just over a month after Janika was beaten a head by the same horse (giving him 19lbs) over the same course and distance.

Janika earned an RPR of 165 for those two efforts - within 2lbs of his best ever over fences.

His only other run at Cheltenham came last season over hurdles where he posted a career best hurdles RPR of 147 when he finished fourth to Summerville Boy off levels (beaten almost 7 lengths).

Henderson said in his ATR stable tour that Janika had a soft palette operation in February and was being prepared for Aintree when covid scuppered things.

Hendo said it's not easy to win with this type of horse but he intends to stick to 2 1/2 miles with him this term. Three of his four chase runs were over the minimum trip last season before he was thrashed by Riders of the Storm in his last outing.

So could he prove a big priced outsider for the Ryanair?

His 0R is 162 which puts him within 7lbs of 8 of the last 10 Ryanair winners.

He's also a French bred like the last 7 Ryanair winners.

I know he didn't pull up any trees last season but if the operation has worked and Hendo enters him in the Ryanair - both open to doubt, I know - then Janika must be in with a shout of making the frame.

Yet none of the bookies have even priced him up for the Ryanair.

What price would you want NC200?

                    I'd certainly take 50-1, maybe even 40-1.

You may get that, if you (someone) gets it requested.

                      I'd want 100/1 - but I'm greedy

I did read his name in the stable tour the other day and think to myself "what an over rated hound he was".... but that isn't true, you make a fair enough few points on him.... my subconcious clearly hates him

I liked him last year, but they fucked about at 2 miles. Based on Jacob telling them he'd be competitive in tingle creek.
Fucking idiot ruined the horses season.
He then rode Sceuax royal instead (on soft) fucking idiot.
Then tried hurdling. And back to 2 miles (on heavy)

They shouldn't be proud of that horses campaign really.
I'm not backing it this year because I'm annoyed.

No, just fucking love that horse! Watched him back so many times and every time I do it he looks better. Old age thing.....if he was trained by Mullins/Gordon/Hendo he'd be way shorter AP for every race. For me, he looks very good. Could be wrong, but fuck it, I'm going in hard. We'll looked after. Improved every run and form stacks up. Loads more improvement in him. Davy fancies him more than his missus.

With you on him. Could do with getting him priced up for the RSA before he runs. Think the plan is to run the beginning of November
