  • Charlatan Kentucky Derby / Triple Crown

Running this Saturday in the Arkansas Derby (Div 1 - race split). There are many similarities to Bob Baffert’s last Triple Crown winner, Justify, currently 2/2 in very impressive style and being backed like defeat out of the question this weekend. Currently 6s for the Derby & 25s for the Triple Crown. Think there are worse 25s pokes to have a bit of fun over the summer.

A mate flagged this up to me just after Charlaten won his last race. Said he looks a star. Got 22/1 for Kentucky derby and 66/1 for triple crown. Hills never reacted for a couple of hours after he won last time out.

Hope so mate. I know nothing about Yank racing but a good friend loves it and keeps me in the loop if something is a stand out.

It’s due off at 11:29 Sat evening Ista, but don’t believe Sky are covering it Live I’m afraid.

The question for £1million on Who Want's To Be A Millionaire was:

Which race is NOT part of the American Triple Crown.

                  Arlington Million
                  Kentucky Derby
                  Belmont Stakes
                  Preakness Stakes

                  21:40 in

Came across this by chance today ... I'd have got that
Wouldn't have got the 3 before it though

Yeah I was watching a re-run if that not so long ago... bit ironic that the ‘Million’ was the answer to the million pound question

Yeah that’s right BC but Saturday are usually Tampa and Gulfstream and they usually miss the last 3 races too (10pm shutdown).
                              Unless tonight is a one-off ?
