Backed Mogul on Friday after getting some info he’s been working brilliantly.
    2.5 win 12/1
I won’t be having anymore until I see the draw.

Does anyone have any strong opinions on the Godolphin pair All Suhail and Military March?

They were first and second in the Autumn Stakes over a mile, pulling well clear of the field.

Al Suhail is a horse I really like, even though he struggled to get his head in front last season, and I'm surprised at the price discrepancy between the two.

Had there been any word on their likely targets?

Found the Al Suhail quote and will now back him for the Derby

Appleby could also have a second string to his bow in the 2000 Guineas with Al Suhail, winner of one of his four starts last term, also in the frame.

The trainer added: “He has worked well at Moulton Paddocks, and we will look at running him in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, with a view to stepping him up in trip to run in the Derby.

“Al Suhail is a very interesting colt. He has a lot of natural pace, but his pedigree suggests he should stay the Derby trip (he is by Dubawi out an Oaks runner-up).”

I've backed Military March for the 2000 Guineas... really liked what he did, but I don't have anything other than best guess to go on for the target.

Saeed bin Suroor said he will go for both the 2000G and the Derby. ‘The Guineas will take him to the Derby’

backed him for the Derby with Mogul

              Excellent.

There have been enough horses win 2000 Guineas that I'd have anticipated be better over further to warrent the pick for me.

Found the full quotes, might be interested

“If racing starts on June 1 it is a clear answer to prepare everything and we have enough time. Our horses are not far away, they are almost ready to go and Military March is doing really well.

“He’s in good form and working well. Physically he looks better than last year. That’s the reason he only raced twice and had a gap between races, he was on the weak side. But now he is physically really good and has done well.

“His form is good and looking at him, from the horses we have had in the past, he’s a solid horse. He’s big and strong and everything has gone right so far – I’m really happy with him and we’re looking forward to running in the Guineas to start.”
The plan following the Guineas for Military March will be the Investec Derby, which is this year due to be run on July 4.

Bin Suroor said: “The Guineas will take him to the Derby. That was the plan last year, the coronavirus has changed things with the programme, but we still hope to run him in the Guineas and the Derby.
“That (time between between Guineas and Derby) is a good time.”

It looks like I'm going with the boys in blue.

Tempted to back them both for the Derby and 2000G

14s Slybet special Waldkonig to win today and win the Derby. If he wins this well today (no gimme IMO) reckon he’ll be the new Derby fav. If he gets beat, he won’t be winning the Derby, so 14s appeals... pity I can’t get much on.

Military march is 100-1 for guineas derby double with B365.
                      not bad value that.
be less than 5-1 if he did win today.
                      I'll have 1pt

hills are 40-1 & 100-1 for triple crown.
                      sky are 66's

Having backed Military March I think I'll also have that. 1 pt.

Al Suhail at 150/1 for the same too isn't bad as they're closely matched. 0.5 pts on that.

14s matched with PP/Sportsbook. Also taken 50s on Al Aasy to win same both races.

Have you heard any further updates on Mogul PIK? I’m already on but after today I’m thinking of going in again?

Seems some market confidence behind Emissary today in the Cocked Hat. Half brother to Workforce and generally 33s for the Derby. Gonna take some of the 50s with 365 to win today and the Derby.

Clearly not ready for the Derby but shaped with plenty of promise IMO. Perhaps he’ll improve with racing like his half brother... one for the tracker.
