Does anybody have any idea or do you think there is a possibility we will never see horse racing again?

Wow, you like drama I take it ?

By asking the ‘will there ever be racing again’ question you won’t be aware of the number of people employed directly, and indirectly, within the industry and their contribution to the economy.

The French intend to race again from 11 May and there is a task force with an industry agreed plan for racing to resume in the UK as soon as government backs it.
Whilst any resumption will be behind closed doors the industry will resume sooner rather than later.

Or have I just bitten on a wind up ?

I wonder if we'll ever see a Premier League game ever again?

Reading uninformed speculation is pretty boring for me too, so I'm done in here.

Racing Post is likely to be the best place for information/speculation/news regarding racings future...

We may not see any sport again who knows? Hardly a bad question or a wind up. This is unprecedented times we are living in. Most of the planet is basically in home prison.

We may not see the high street again either. Foreign travel is likely to become something only for the super rich.

Anybody who thinks the world is ever going to return to the way it was is probably misguided. To assume horse racing will return is surely more hope than based on logic.

We will be in the worst depression in history from the back of this and every major depression in modern history has resulted in a world war. World war 3 is already being set up as USA blames China for the outbreak.

Horse racing is the least of the governments worries.

Did sport return after World War 1? Or WW2?

If you believe we're all going to die in WW3 (that is now on the cards?!) you're wasting your last fleeting moments on this earth on this forum aren't you?

Obviously sport will return, so will high streets. They were already going towards non-retail based models anyway (hairdresses, beauty salons, tattooists taking their places)

Why not take your mind off it with a third post, on another part of the forum...talking about the good times

”By asking the ‘will there ever be racing again’ question you won’t be aware of the number of people employed directly, and indirectly, within the industry and their contribution to the economy.“

There are lots of people employed in the airline industry, in the motor industry, in the food industry, in the pub, club and entertainment industry, in the travel industry, in the beauty industry and many many more industries. They all contribute to the economy. Horse racing would be somewhere down the bottom of the list of priorities as the world economy collapses. So you aren’t realistic if you think any world government is going to prioritise horses running round fields and protect this over other far more important industries.

“Racing Post is likely to be the best place for information/speculation/news regarding racings future...”

The racing post is no place to look. It’s purely down to the government the racing post is just a newspaper. You will only find speculation not anything of substance. Government holds the cards not some newspaper. Their opinions are ultimately irrelevant.

“Obviously sport will return, so will high streets. They were already going towards non-retail based models anyway (hairdresses, beauty salons, tattooists taking their places)”

Hairdressers, beauty salons and tattooists cannot do their jobs using social distancing which could last well into next year. They will all be bust by next year and won’t exist. High streets won’t return, everyone will go bankrupt except the super strong. Most people with lots of money have money tied up in investments stocks and shares, they are worthless as the markets collapse. People won’t have the funds to restart new businessses. Sport is not certain to return in our lifetime, the longer we remain in home prison the less likely any industry is to bounce back.

Whilst we are all imprisoned the 5g masts are going up all over the world.
Whilst we are all imprisonments Elon Musk is launching 44,000 satellites to surround the earth and beam down 5g to every part of the world (say goodbye to stars we will no longer be able to see them).

What is 5g going to do? It’s going to control Artificial intelligence and robots and the remaining humans who have been microchipped. If you don’t accept the chip/vaccine you will be classed as a terrorist and executed.
The robots have been slowly slowly replacing humans jobs once 5g has full world coverage there will be very few jobs for humans.

This is a controlled collapse of society by the globalists where 7.5 billion people will die. The virus picks off the elderly, world war 3 picks off the 16yo to 65yos. The fallout will cause more disease and famine worldwide picking off any stragglers. The young children will be protected by the new world order and this will be all that’s left in the new AI world. They will live a life of slavery and will know no different.

But that’s fine let’s all pretend that horse racing will return as they put money into the economy.

Just go outside every thursday and clap the NHS and everything will be fine.

So when you asked your original question what you really intended was to use this thread as a platform to preach your views rather than engage in the views of other members.
Perhaps you would be more suited to political forums...
