You must follow a bunch of muppets, then

Twitter is a garbage. Good for memes, though.

Unless we see an almighty increase in Coronavirus cases in the UK, it should have no bearing whatsoever on any public event.

Any talk otherwise is pure nonsense. Flu is far more prevalent and dangerous and exists every year!

The majority of those infected suffer mild symptoms. Only the very young or elderly are at serious risk. As I said, unless there is a huge increase, you just carry on, and if certain vulnerable people (health-wise) choose not to come, so be it. Personal choice.

I do, but not these guys.

It was mostly a joke but actually twitter's algorithim promotes "soft" retweets from tweets people you've followed have engaged with meaning your feed gets clogged with crap you didn't sign up for

Yeah, I knew what you meant

I try not to go on there too much, and most of the stuff I follow is UFC/Boxing related, so I see even worse garbage than the racing stuff that I imagine you are talking about.

I've found following a bunch of strippers and porn stars help balance it out a bit, so at least I see plenty of tits, as well as reading stuff from them.

Wouldn’t all bets be void in such instance, therefore not losing anything front Antepost betting? Wouldn’t need the insurance as cover for bets - may be for hotel costs though I’m sure won’t be needed anyway

This is very concerning. It appears only a matter of time before the virus hits the UK. People seeming to panicking about something that is less severe than flu and with which many people remain asymptomatic. I am trusting in the great British resolve and the fact that no one will go rushing off to be tested the first time they cough; that way we will never know if it's here! On a personal note, i have flights and accommodation booked and will not be able to make the contingency date (assuming it is around the mid-April meeting) so people here in Boston has better pray it is on because , trust me, they won't to be around me in two weeks time if it's cancelled!

They closed two schools in Cheshire today, one in Nantwich that I drive past every day, as a precaution...

A good friend of mine works there, it's a mountain out of a mole hill situation - they had a school trip to Italy (in an area nowhere near where the virus has been found) and all got sent home today just in case.

That said, it's little too close for comfort

Had no idea you were in Boston BoF, was out there in October on an NFL beano.
Would have happily met up for a lobster roll and a few Coors light if I’d known...
