Target was confirmed in the weekender and few on twitter happy to shout it from the rooftops pretty much.

Fair enough, cheers Outlaw. My pick in tipping competition!

I’ve harped on since his debut (not that I move markets). One I can chalk up as a ‘this season’ horse for my detractors

Novices don't do that well in this race though Jackie
So maybe he is one for next year.

Didn’t JP have back to back novice winners not so long ago?

And Pigeon was a novice in 2010 wasn’t he?

Oh Crick in 2009 (trained by King coincidentally)

                    They can win.
                    Just don't do that well.

Had to listen to 'Stop the Pigeon' non stop all the way home that year.

Well that’s 4 novice winners and an annoying song in the last 10 years.

They need to be very well handicapped generally, low weights.

He won’t have a low weight and I’ll only know if he’s well handicapped on the day. By that time it won’t matter as I’ll be skint anyway.

Do you have anything for this in your multitude of backed horses?

                              I count 2.
                              Bellvano off 138 10 stone 2
                              Pigeon off 129 10 stone 1

Think both had had quite a few runs as well 6 or 7.

Tough little race for an inexperienced horse.

                                Oh Crick and Alderwood?

I’ll concede to the low weight. Lisp is not lacking experience in big field, fast run handicaps though.
