    Rules for this thread


    1.     Please post the name of the horse injured/missing the festival (as a matter of what is presented as fact)

    2. Post the source (ideally with a link) to where this information is from

    The reason for this, is that we want a noticable, timely and accurate thread with facts so that we can react quickly to potential news.




    At regular intervals, I will update the post below (#2) with a complete list. All of the links to the original source will remain.

      Western Ryder fractured a pedal bone today and is out for the season, remarkably he sustained the injury jumping three out and still won.
      Clean break and expected to fully heal but he won’t be back on the racecourse until 20/21 season

          It is very serious and I hope it's not career threatening but we won't know for a week or two. However, it seems certain we may have to give the rest of this season a miss."

          Racing post just tweeted this quite from henderson regarding Buvuer Dair.
          Not definitely ruled out but thought it worth putting on here.

          He used the words 'pretty slim' on luck on sunday - regards returning this season.

                  Very sad to report that Sam Spinner has suffered a pelvic injury and won’t run again this season. With luck he’ll be back 100% next year. @RacingPost

                    Le Richebourg and Band of Outlaws both miss the festival after set back

                    Both hoped to be back for the other spring festivals, Aintree mentioned for Le Richebourg
