Espoir D'Allen is out for the season! Literally the only reason!

Still think Buveur D’Air is being dismissed too lightly...

I don't think you could ever write off a 2 time champ who has come back to win at another festival off the back of a fall.

          Obvious chance.

My only nagging doubt is his age, but I don't think the age will get the better of this argument and I think I will be backing him soon.

Another case of Form versus Could be anything...

This time the form fans have the value with Buveur D'air

Happy to hear about Saldier, and it will be interesting to see what trip Melon takes up.

That explains the blue across the board on oddschecker for Saldier , Presuming he stays hurdling.

Personally hope he goes chasing, what with KD & Saldier for the CH now!

Sharjah wouldn't strike me as a chaser. Melon will be interesting could see him being very good, as he travels so well, but by Medicean, isn't there some anti flat breeding stat?

He may not physically, but he'll take to it, I'm sure of that.

On the sire side of things, horses like Master Dino, Sceau Royal, La Bague Au Roi & Docteur De Ballon (in France) have all taken to fences, and taken to them well. Sharjah is a very good horse over hurdles in his own right, but I think he can improve for a fence myself.

My only concern is the trip, and deciding which is best!

33/1 to find out, it's a more than fair price IMO.

And sorry for hi-jacking the CH thread!
