I don’t tend to be very overly opinionated on these threads but I massively massively fancy one for this months yankee - Chacun Pour Soi. For the Champion Chase. He looks like a monster. His main rival is a big doubt to even run with Altior firstly aiming at the King George. Nothing else over 2m looks to be coming from asides from maybe Le Richebourg.

I’m very hopeful that I can persuade you all that Chacun Pour Soi @ 8/1 is an excellent bet for the May Forum Yankee to start with a Champion Chase win.

I think this far out we should be certain enough on targets...

but Carefully Selected for the 4 miler isn't something I'd complain about.

The 4 miler MAY be more important now that Ruby isn't in the equation.

Willie has always put the horse in the most winnable race, and he does look a slow old boat

I do like Minella Indo but I made the case and he was picked in the April Yankee so we should share the love around.

It is so tough, at the moment the only horses I've had any 'real' money on are Minella Indo, Gypsy Island, Delta Work and then a copuple of multiples (Benie Des Dieux, Paisley Park) and the March/April yankee's.


It's hard to make cases this far out...

I think the first three is pretty much assured.

For the final selection, I would be against Min personally.

I’d want to be against Frodon as the last horse too.

Just because I get the feeling this season may have been a year where he was at his absolute best and everything went right. Replicating that will be hard.
