£20 entry includes a hotpot meal and there will be a cash bar, last year they had a charity raffle with race days etc. As prizes so would assume the same
Any update on the panel for this?

Cartmel put their details up too - enjoyed this in the past!

Cheltenham Festival 2019 preview evening at Cartmel Racecourse
                  28/Jan/2019 | Uncategorised
We are pleased to introduce four great experts in their field to this year’s Cheltenham Festival Preview evening panel.
James Moffatt – A Cartmel born and bred trainer who was previously a National Hunt jockey, when he won the Scottish Champion Hurdle and the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. He has since achieved great success as a trainer including among many others, a win at Cheltenham with Chief Dan George in 2010.
Marten Julian – Highly regarded within the horse racing industry due to his huge experience and knowledge of horses and their form. Marten established his horse racing advisory service in 1970 while reading theology at King’s College, London. He is also the author of the Dark Horses Annual.
Sean Quinlan – Leading National Hunt jockey, has already ridden 35 winners this season and is en-route to achieving his most successful year to date. Quinlan began his career in Ireland and has been riding in Britain for over twelve years. We are looking forward to gaining insights from one of the best experts in the industry.
The evening, held in the racecourse grandstand and hosted by our very own race day presenter, John Sexton will start at 7pm where our panel will give their predictions for each and every race at the festival. This really is a must for all Cheltenham enthusiasts.
Tickets are £16.50 per person and include a delicious light supper. If you would like to book then please call the racecourse office on 015395 36340.

Is Cartmels on the same night as Carlisle’s as usual? Always seems bad planning

A couple of years back there was one at a working mens club in Kingstanding. Lydia Hislop, Steve Mellish were on the panel and it was a decent night. I'm not sure if it was on last year though

                              Yeah I’ll be going

Last year was my first ever preview night, I think this site ruined it a bit for me as almost everything they said had been discussed on here!

A random guy came up to me when they were talking about the Triumph and simply said “Nube Negra wins the Fred Winter” and disappeared into the background again which was the most bizarre thing, however when he came round the bend I thought it was the most profitable thing to ever happen to me!

Not the most high profile cast but the food is good and it’s a couple of hours talking racing so I’ll be an ever present
