    Well done MoM.

Glad we’re spreading out the liabilities amongst the bookmakers - wouldn’t want to bankrupt the industry when we clean up

      Good idea this MoM.
Allows to track price changes and, god forbid, any scratches.....

No problem lads. Happy to help.

Imagine the scenes if we get the first three land in one of these. If 50 people on here have backed these, the bookies possible liabilities for the Yankee if the fourth was to win would be all over the racing news.

Thought it might be useful to see which horses and which races we’ve selected most.

            Horses chosen:
            Summerville Boy - 2
            Penhill - 2
            Laurina - 2
            Altior - 1
            Buveur Dair - 1
            Presenting Percy - 1
            Santini - 1
            Samcro - 1
            Identity Thief - 1
            Tiger Roll - 1
            Willoughby Court - 1
            Might Bite - 1
            Delta Work - 1
            Monalee - 1
            Annibale Fly - 1
            Benie Des Dieux - 1
            Kalashnikov - 1

            Races:
            Champion Hurdle - 3
            Stayers Hurdle - 3
            Gold Cup - 3
            JLT Chase - 2
            Ryanair Chase - 2
            Mares Hurdle - 2
            Champion Chase - 1
            Arkle - 1
            Cross Country - 1
            NH Chase - 1
            RSA - 1

Interesting to see we have three different horses in these Yankees already for the Gold Cup and the season hasn’t yet started. Also surprising to see that of the four major races, it’s Altior and the Champion Chase with the least entries from us with just one (March).

I suppose it's because this far out the markets that are most formed are the 4 championship races.

It's to early to be anything more than a 'fun' bet and to be fair Altior is the worst value of the lot despite his incredibly obvious chance and big fan base

Good idea to keep on top of it

Yeah I just found it interesting tbh Kev. I certainly won’t be reading too much into it.

I think Altior probably is value at 7/4 personally.

If he’s fully fit, he’d be odds on against everything else that could run against him (including footpad). I believe he’d beat footpad by 4 lengths at Cheltenham on any ground.

What a coincidence M.O.M , I made a list yesterday of the horses we've selected so far ,
and the races we've selected them for . Thought it might help
to highlight other selections we've not picked so far.

I've been away and only just got round to doing this, I have very few online options but the same acca with Sky pays just 5279/1, for those who are able to get the 15209/1 well done !

Don't forget there are 10 festival handicaps where markets are not formed until well into the season and finding a fancy for one of these races is just about impossible 7 months out, so I expect every monthly yankee to focus on the championship and novice events until the New Year.
This will mean duplication and contradiction but that's unavoidable...

As ridiculous as it may sound, I have an early fancy for the handicaps on day 1. Even asked for a price on one of them.

It's certainly not ridiculous to have a view but a horse rated 145 now may well be 160 come March and either doesn't qualify for the 'caps or connections have a stab at a championship race.
And we know horses will be declared for multiple races and picking out a likely target this far out is riddled with risk...

Totally agree Ista, that's why I haven't pulled the trigger at 33/1.

I haven't had chance tonight but I am going to try and guess this horse tomorrow evening
