Got talking to a long distance trucker (All over Europe) and the word is Latvia so I've doubled up with a little Irish priest to be next pope, I thought the current one looked a little pasty over Easter.

Are prostitutes a reliable guide to Eurovision success?

                Moldova 350/1

                Massive news today ....

This afternoon's rehearsals kicked off with Moldova's Anna Odobescu and her song 'Stay'. Standing centred on the stage, the minimal movement in her performance serves to highlight the compelling lyrics and masterful sand art that accompanies the singer.

For those who can't be bothered to read the article (and why would you...) in short,m there is a 'sand artist' that performed during an entry for the Ukraine a few years back (circa 2011) and it was so good that the average song placed (top 4) at 100/1.

The exact same 'sand artist' is back and going to be assisting the Moldovan entry this year... so at 350/1 I will definitely be having a small interest.

You don't need lots of positives when something is 350/1

                  Any strong opinions on Norway?

I know nothing about Eurovision but I do like Norway for the St Leger and was thinking of placing a Norway / Norway each way double

No strong opinions at all yet to be fair, but they're 66/1 so you'd regret not having a minimum stake on it now....

I'm following your lead Kev. Done Moldova each way at 350/1 for starters.

                          I've backed:

                          Azerbajan 66/1 (now 10/1)
                          Denmark 66/1 (now 125/1)
                          Czech Republic 100/1 (now 80/1)
                          Moldova 350/1
                          Moldova Top 10 - 50/1

THE most volitile betting markets I've ever come across

Worth reading.... will be loads more crap to filter through... should have posted ths when I started, looks like I forgot after putting 'more to follow' .... ah well.

I try not to watch any of the YouTube videos at all, and just watch the Semi Finals and back my 'judgement' based on them... got a pretty good record (which may well be more luck than judgement) but for anyone watching this year, don't even give a thought to anything at the head of the market this far out...

There will be something at 3 figures before the Semi finals start than goes off sub 16/1 (possibly single figures).... it is MENTAL.

Maybe do top 10 rather than outright winner each way in the double?

Or Top Scandinavian (or however they're grouping them)

I thought about Denmark in that market at 25/1 but Sweden are always there or thereabouts.
