Interesting stuff from both of you.

Odds look a bit measly considering only 3 runners went off less than 10/1 last year.

It was a great performance today by Flintham but I am not sure about him around Cheltenham.

If world hurdle under consideration maybe this is too...

Paul Nicholls has raised the possibility of Silviniaco Conti running in the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival with a number of options under consideration in the spring. The 10-year-old is in the frame for a possible crack at the Crabbie's Grand National at Aintree, although the Betfred Bowl Chase that he has won for the last two years at that meeting is also under consideration, along with a trip to the Punchestown Festival.Silviniaco Conti won the King George in both 2013 and 2014 but was pulled up in last month's renewal of that race with Nicholls feeling the opposition were just too good. The Ditcheat handler also revealed Silviniaco Conti has undergone a minor breathing operation since that outing.

He told At The Races: "I think (the Grand National) is a good plan. He won two King Georges and you look at the form and think, well, probably Cue Card wasn't at his best (in 2013) and Dynaste (in 2014) maybe wasn't at his best and this year was a very, very hot King George.

"We've had problems with him this year with sarcoids, it hasn't probably been an easy year and I think he's a little bit soft now and when he got headed at Kempton, he just thought 'I'll look after myself'.

"He's had his soft palate cauterised since he ran the other day.

"I haven't even put him in the Gold Cup and he will actually have an entry in the World Hurdle which might be a prep for the National.

The two probable races for him in the spring would be the Aintree race he's won for the last two years and Punchestown.
"Whether he runs in the National this year or in 12 months time, I don't know.

Quite like the look of Join The Clan in this race. Ran well in the Heroes Handicap Hurdle on Saturday at Sandown. Which is a key trial race for this race. Is at 20/1 at the moment.

Kate Harrington mention Oscar Sam for this on the Preview Thread. Rated 127 in Ireland and second last time out so might struggle to get in ?

LR you not concerned that he will probably be top weight ?

Think there is something lurking a bit lower probably in green and gold hoops.

McManus horses can get overbet in handicaps but he has a serious hand in this.

I already stepped in F_M. He will probably be around 12's on the day.

You are right OV. I did mention he will probably be top weight and was hoping he went for the WH where I took 50/1 nrnb without TC. Didn't Fingal Bay win this race of top weight so no reason why Tag can't go close? He needs the spring ground and ran well off top weight on soft the other week against the now Pertemps fav.

I went in quite heavy again today on Sempre Medici for the CH today after listening to KB on The Final Furlong, so may only have another one or two ap bets in me.
