Trainer : Runners from the Pipe stable have won 4 of the last 14   Nicky Henderson has never won this race in its' 31 year history. Paul Nicholls has won the race  three times since 2010.

Jockey: Noel Fehily, Tony McCoy and Timmy Murphy have both ridden two winners in the last decade. Barry Geraghty last rode the winner in 2002.

Starting Price : Before Cue Card last year and Silvinciavo Conti in 2015 ust one favourite (Exotic Dancer 2007) had won the race in the previous twelve years. Three horses have won at more than 10/1 in the 12 including Follow the Plan at 50/1 in 2012.

Previous Race:  Just one horse from the front three in the Gold Cup has won this race since 1997.
